The ASUU STRIKE is finally showing the “green light” as a typical Nigerian undergraduate would say.
Many can no longer wait for the end of this ASSU-FG battle, while some students want the strike to linger until next year.
Finally, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is about to agree to call off its one-month warning strike after the Federal Government offered to pay the lecturers a huge sum on Friday.
The decision followed a meeting with the government team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, in Abuja, on Friday.
The FG further agreed to settle the arrears of salaries for the lecturers before long.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU ) is expected to report the agreement to its organs and then communicate their decision to the government after which a date for the calling off of the strike would be announced.
That there, is directly from ASUU itself, as Expomaster is only interested in giving you reliable, helpful, and legitimate information. Keep coming back for more.
With that said, when exactly do you think the strike will be called off?
